Voting on Wing Venture Capital's Enterprise Tech 30 list has become one of my favorite annual rituals. My process: brew a pot of coffee, turn my headphones up/message notifications down, and go through several hundred pitchbook records, websites, and news articles to filter the nominee list down to a handful of potential ultimate winners (and yes, process is sometimes iterative, over a few days).

What excites me the most: -Discovering new startups/bold ideas/big at bats in the early stage category, that I hadn't yet heard of.-Seeing some of the hardest working founding teams I know make an appearance on the nomination list (being recognized for their efforts).-(naturally) Finding out whether any of my picks made it to the final list.

Over 15,000 venture-backed companies were looked at, and 40 have been selected as the leaders.
